The Honda Prelude has many different types of engines.  In this article we will discuss the use of the H22 engine on N/A power.  This is the best way to make after market power.  It is also the most exspensive.

• N/A H22 can do high Horse Power Numbers
• N/A H22 can be used on high boost turbo builds
• N/A H22 Can be used on large shots of nitrous

Going N/A for the H22 is something that one really can't do in their garage.  You have to have a your block sleeved if you are putting new pistons in.  Have the block honed out if you are putting in larger pistons.  Have the crank balanced, etc.  Going N/A is more than just buying parts.  N/A H22 will have to be assembled correctly to make it purely functional.

N/A H22 is by far the best way to go with a Honda motor.  H22 leads the after market import crowd to many forums, drag racing events, hang out spots, and car shows.  N/A H22 is something to be respected.  When you do decide to go N/A, you will have to ask yourself, what your really going for here.

If you just want a N/A H22 to handle a 150 shot of nitrous you can probably get away with just upgraded head parts.  If you are looking to do 25 lbs of boost on a stock H22 block, than you will be getting a better crank and pistons on the N/A H22.

Another thing to consider when going N/A is that you are going to have a 400 HP motor.  You are going to need a clutch that can handle that. Most likely a 6 puck clutch, or stage 3 clutch will do.
